Longevity & Mitochondrial combines Epithalon 10mg, NAD+ 100mg, SS-31 10mg, and 5-Amino-1MQ 50mg, four peptides representing four distinct research threads within cellular-aging literature.
Epithalon is studied for telomerase activity. NAD+ is studied for cellular energy metabolism. SS-31 is studied for mitochondrial membrane structure via cardiolipin stabilization, and 5-Amino-1MQ is studied for NNMT inhibition connected to NAD+ metabolism.
All four vials ship individually labeled and independently HPLC-verified before batch release. This product is intended strictly for laboratory research use only and is not approved for human consumption.
The Longevity & Mitochondrial kit covers four separate cellular-aging mechanisms in one panel: telomerase-activity research with Epithalon, energy-cofactor research with NAD+, mitochondrial-membrane research with SS-31, and NNMT-pathway research with 5-Amino-1MQ.
Cellular-aging research draws on several mechanistic threads that rarely appear together in a single compound, telomere biology, mitochondrial membrane integrity, cellular energy availability, and enzymatic regulation of NAD+ consumption. This kit was built to represent all four in one panel rather than asking researchers to assemble them from separate listings, each of which is also sold individually elsewhere on the site.

Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide related to the naturally occurring pineal peptide epithalamin, studied for telomerase activity and cellular senescence research, the genomic-stability side of cellular-aging literature. It is the only compound in this kit studied for telomere-related mechanisms specifically, distinguishing its research relevance from the other three, which focus more directly on mitochondrial and metabolic function.
SS-31, also known as elamipretide, is a mitochondria-targeted peptide studied for cardiolipin stabilization and mitochondrial membrane research, a structural angle on mitochondrial aging distinct from NAD+'s cofactor-availability angle. Cardiolipin is a phospholipid specific to the inner mitochondrial membrane, and its stability is studied as a factor in mitochondrial function that is separate from, but interacts with, the cellular-energy questions NAD+ addresses.
5-Amino-1MQ is a small-molecule NNMT inhibitor, studied for cellular metabolism research connected to NAD+ consumption, adding an enzymatic-regulation layer to the cofactor research NAD+ itself represents. Pairing an NNMT inhibitor with direct NAD+ supplementation lets researchers examine both the supply side and the consumption side of the same metabolic cofactor within one protocol.
Cellular-aging research increasingly treats aging as a multi-system process rather than a single pathway, which is reflected in how this kit is organized. A protocol examining only telomere length, for instance, would miss the mitochondrial-membrane and cofactor-availability variables that Longevity & Mitochondrial's other three compounds represent, and vice versa. Researchers building baseline cellular-aging protocols frequently want all four mechanisms represented from the start, rather than discovering partway through a study that an additional variable needs to be introduced and sourced separately.
